Golf Instruction

Golf Instruction is provided by PGA Professional Dave Nordeen. Dave has been a dedicated member of the PGA since 1997 and has instructed golfers of all skill levels. Group and private lessons are available as follows:

Single Private lesson $75  45 Minutes

5 lesson package  $300

Group lessons

Cost $75 for 5-1 hour lessons. Minimum 4 students.

Junior Golf

Eligible Participants:  Somerby golf members, Social members and Byron residents.

5 day series- Ages 10-17   Cost $100

Instructors: Dave Nordeen,, Matt Norgaard, Eric Goar

  • 10-17 year old group 8:00-9:00 am
  • 10-17 year old group 9:15-10:15 am

5 day series Ages 6-9  Cost $50  (play days not included)

6-9 year old group 10:30-11:30 am

Boys and girls will focus on the fundamentals of the golf swing and will touch on all areas of the game of golf. During this series there will be opportunities to test fundamentals learned on the golf course in adult supervised groups.

Advanced Clinic Series:  Available to kids 14 and older. One day clinics that will focus on swing fundamentals, course management, and short game. Each week we will discuss a different topic. Maximum students 8, Minimum 4; 1 1/2 hours in length.

Cost: $100 for all five or $25 per session. (includes playdays for series)
